Alumni Association of Jiamusi University in Beijing held medical colloquium

    On December 24, 2009, Alumni Association of Jiamusi University in Beijing held medical colloquium in the academic lecture hall. The current administrators of the university and the report team members including Yuan Lin, Luan Guoming, Wu Min, Zhang Yazhuo, Su Yucheng, Zhao Xiaoyu, Guo Shubin, Zhou Hai, Zhang Yuanlu, Lin Runtai attended the academic seminar. At the seminar, Party Secretary Chen Chenggui delivered a welcoming speech; Yuan Lin, the former vice minister of Ministry of Health of the General Logistics Department, made a statement on behalf of alumni association of Jiamusi University in Beijing. Six experts gave lectures on the neurological medicine, oral medicine, medical imagining and other aspects of an academic report. The colloquium was presided over by Chancellor Meng Xiangcai; some teachers and students representatives from School of Medicine, School of Basic Medical Sciences, School of Clinical Medicine, School of Stomatology, School of Rehabilitation Medicine, Department of Public Health attended the colloquium.
    Cheng Chenggui, Party Secretary of the university, praised the support and concern from the Alumni Association to the development and construction of Jiamusi University, and at the same time he expressed his gratitude to all the alumni and put forward the specific ideas to build the Alumni Association. He pointed out that the university would take full advantage of the Alumni Association and further strengthen the building of the Alumni Association. He hoped that the Alumni Association would be a valuable resource to the teaching, research and employment.
    Meng Xiangcai, President of Jiamusi University, pointed out that the alumni was the postcard that spread abroad the school's reputation, while the alma mater is the trademark and logo of the alumni. He hoped that all alumni would support the development and construction of Jiamusi University just as before.
    During the period, the alumni come to School of Clinical Medicine, School of Stomatology, School of Rehabilitation Medicine, School of Basic Medical Sciences to make an investigation, go the rounds of the wards, ask the relevant cases and exchange experience with the teachers and students who benefit from their advanced theory and technology.
